Ed has been riding and caring for horses for 30years. He is currently developing his young horse "UpToDate" or "Squidgy" to all who admire him. Standing 18hh , this 7y old Dutch Warmblood was spotted by Ed as a rising 3y old. He looked like a lanky adolescent thoroughbred. After he failed to reach his reserve at the sales he was purchased by Ed, much to the surprise and amusement of Ed's peers! However Ed could see that magic elusive ingredient “Potential" !

Squidgy has now been handled exclusively by Ed for 4 years a deep understanding has grown between them and they are now competing at elementary level. Ed instinctively understood the need for patience, and allowed Squidgy time to develop both mentally and physically. .

Squidgy is now unrecognisable from the gangly youngster he once was. The amusement of Ed's peers has now been replaced with admiration!

Ed lives on the yard and makes all the day to day decisions ensuring all the horses receive the best care and attention. 

Having studied with Kelly Marks , Ed is also well grounded in Natural Horsemanship - ( BHS stages 1,2,3,4 PTT)
