I was one of group that attended a Equine Touch course with Jock Roddock, at South Barrow Equestrian Centre.
It was a fabulous venue, so warm and relaxed, the energy was so good and hit you as soon as I walked through the gate.
Ed was the perfect host, very open and welcoming. The yard was pristine but relaxed a challenging balance. All the horses were so chilled and happy a real credit to Ed. I hope to do more courses there as it was so good!

Ed Hobbs made the most wonderful job of breaking in Kamillah when she was four. She was lunged, backed and tactfully ridden away by him. This good groundwork enabled her to be shown professionally under saddle the following year when she was in the ribbons each time shown. As a six year old she has done some dressage competitions and now jumps 3’ Cross Country. As owner I have a well schooled and well mannered horse to ride and she and I grow in experience and confidence under Ed’s tutelage.
